x 10
ten times a day i shout for joy
ten times i cry in pain
ten times a day i sit and stair
ten times i run away
ten times a day i'm fully awake
ten times i am asleep
ten times a day i've been alert
ten times i am inert
ten times a day i eat and drink
ten times i (what do you think...)
now-
ten things i have written
ten you have read
now if ten read this
-the ten that i have
than one hundred we shall be
then i'll have a good laugh
because you are just as useless as me!

Ecclesiastes always leaves me with a smile on my face. For some reason I find it amusing how many times its mentions vanity.
Brock is right, this poem holds a striking resemblence to Ecc. 3:1-8.
but i'm guessing you wern't trying to be that profound ;)
